Opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference.
Many of our Fulton Hill children come from broken homes and have been exposed to violence and drugs at a very young age. If you have a desire to make a difference in the life of a child living under the challenges of inner city life, we would love to have you join us as a volunteer or full-time staff.* We need tutors, mentors and friends to be a positive influence in the lives of these young people. Would you consider investing some love and time into these children?
Every Thursday night we hold Character Club at Powhatan Hill Community Center, where we share the gospel and instill Christian values through teaching, crafts, activities, and small group interaction. This is a great opportunity to meet the children and get to know them. Perhaps God would lead you to mentor one personally–one on one!
If you have a group interested in inner city ministry, we’d be glad to work with you towards providing opportunities for evangelistic, service, or intercessory outreach events.
Intercessors, we welcome any and all of you who will come and join us in praying for the Fulton Hill and East Side communities!
* You must complete a DTS (link to DTS page) before becoming full-time Urban staff
