Jesse Melo

Our Calling

After a decade dedicated to serving the church in Brazil and enriched by countless experiences, Camila, Jesse, and many children responded to the divine call to serve in the Church of Jesus overseas. Although the Lord could direct us to places like Africa, China, or Pakistan, He brought them to the United States, a country that, like others, longs for divine grace and favor.

Why Richmond?

Amid cultural and spiritual shifts in the U.S., it is crucial to plant and revitalize churches. In 2017, we were invited to Richmond and join Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a Christian organization active in 180+ countries that is mobilizing young people for missionary work. Since then, we’ve collaborated with local ministries, initiating projects to make a positive impact on the community.
