Speaking Truth through relationship

This blog is inspired by the most recent episode of What’s God Doing!

Building relationships is important because it gives you opportunities to speak Truth into everyday life!

I remember a time when I was working a job I really wanted to quit. However, because I was willing to be where He invited me, He opened up so many ways to minister to the people around me. I remember one girl that was close to my age; she was someone who I believe was seeking to understand who God is. She asked me so many questions, and I was able to pray for her. By simply being open to pray for her, I became aware of another lady, who began to ask me if I could pray for her too.  Your actions can have a ripple effect on others in ways you didn’t expect.

Be aware of the kind of actions you take or the words you say; the could become good or a bad examples depending on where your heart is with the Lord! Although it was good I was willing to pray, I know I also made many mistakes there too; yet if you are willing to step out in faith and be obedient, God will give you more chances.

He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

God is inviting us to cultivate relationships with those around us, to “love our neighbors.”  Keep your eyes opened, and tell me the opportunities you come across this week!

  1. Awesome EJ! I want a heart that is willing to say yes to the invitations God gives me. Sometimes I don’t know how to build relationships with others but I believe God knows and can lead me perfectly to love others. All I need to do is be willing to submit to Him. “There is no fear in love, but perfect loves casts out fear… We love because He first loved us.” -1John4:18-19
