Are you called to be a missionary? Getting started with YWAM Virginia is easy. All you need is a personal relationship with God and a desire to help others know Jesus personally. It doesn’t matter what denomination, which country you’re from, or what nationality you are. Our experienced staff have a combined 200 years of missions experience. We are watching God use teenagers & young missionaries to change nations like Haiti, & India. So that’s why we are sending 300 young missionaries to unreached people groups & sister cities around the world in the next five year. We’d love to hear how God is calling you to become a missionary. DTS
The first step in the journey is our Discipleship Training School (DTS). DTS is a five month short term mission experience. DTS begins with a 12 week training here in Richmond and is followed by 8-12 weeks of international mission work.
Missionary Intership Program
After DTS we give you the opportunity to start in missions immediately through our Missionary Intern Program. In this program you will accomplish many goals while being mentored directly by one of our experienced staff.
English Language + Culture School(ELC)
ELC’s goal is to develop your ability to communicate in English, cultivate a deeper relationship with God, and encorage positive interaction with people of other cultures.
