School of Jewish Studies

“I’ve always loved Israel, and the Biblical feasts. It wasn’t until SJS that my love for Jewish people all over the world exploded.”

School of Jewish Studies

different cultures, common bonds

The purpose of the School of Jewish Studies (SJS) is to equip YWAM’ers with tools for relevant ministry among the Jewish people both in Israel & in the Diaspora.

The course lasts six months. After the three-month lecture phase, a variety of three-month internships are offered. In addition to Israel, other possible destinations include New York City, Ukraine, India, Brazil and other places with large Jewish populations… Over 25,000 Israeli youth visit India every year after they have completed their time in the military. This presents a great opportunity to share the love of Messiah with them.

God’s desire is for all young people to discover their destiny and fulfill their potential in Him – to have a hope and a future. God’s heart’s desire is to release young people of all nations to go to the ends of the Earth to make a difference and to help complete the Great Commission.
