YWAM Virginia Anniversary Celebration
30 Years of Mission and Relationship
What will we be doing:
Ablaze is a gathering of youth, families & church groups for worship & missions opportunities. There has been a lot of “buzz” about the modern prayer movement & the missions movement strategically working together. God is calling YWAM Virginia to step forward and host a gathering with this vision over the summer. Each day for three weeks in July we will gather for worship, intercession, missions training, and strategic missions opportunities. We will gather to hear from God first. In response to the Lord, we will join in unity for community oriented missions opportunities.
While preparing for this summer gathering, God reminded us of the encouraging scripture in 2 Timothy 1:6-7. “And the special gift of ministry you received when I laid hands on you and prayed-keep that ablaze! God doesn’t want us to be shy with his gifts, but bold, and loving and sensible.” With this verse in mind, The Ablaze Worship & Missions Gathering will encourage the mentoring of youth in leadership. Youth are the leaders of today not tomorrow!
The outreaches are still being planned, but will include city wide prayer events, concerts, theater productions & service opportunities.
Our time will also be loaded with fun activities such as swimming, sports, visiting historic places, & flying through the air on YWAM Virginia’s Richmond Ropes Challenge Course.
Who’s Invited?
Outreach Participants:
Wish to join us for a day of worship, prayer, outreach & fun during any of our scheduled community outreaches. Each day anyone who wants to participate can spend the day with us. $25/adult, $10/youth 9-17. Children 8 and under are free. The fee will cover your lunch, dinner, outreach expenses & speaker honorariums
Interns:
If you are 18 years or older, come join us for the month of July as an intern. Interns will need to fill out a volunteer application. Email your Intern request to ablaze@ywamva.org
Families:
Looking for a vacation alternative? This will be a refreshing event for the whole family. We’ll even have missions opportunities for the little ones. Children 8 and under are free. Families can Register online here.
Youth Groups:
Bring your youth group, small group or gather some people together from your local Christian community.
What are the Costs:
$50 non-refundable deposit (this money will be used to purchase Theme related items such as T-shirts, reserve rooms, and administrative costs)
$75 outreach fees (these fees cover food, event expenses, speaker honorariums, training materials, Richmond Ropes fees and other outreach related expenses)
$100/person/week ( arranged lodging will be at the Hyatt Place Richmond Airport. Each participant will each share a room with three other participants. A minimum of one adult is required per room. YWAM staff may also serve as chaperons if necessary.

$25 Single Day Outreach Fees Participating for one day? These fees cover food, event expenses, speaker honorariums, training materials, R and other outreach related expenses
What’s the Schedule:
You can choose from three weekly options. Each week Ablaze will begin Monday morning at 10am with registration. Our week will end around 6pm on each Friday with a final dinner together. Each day will begin at 8am and most likely go until 10pm. We will have down times for families & fun.

How do I Register?
We’ve worked hard to make this easy. Our registration deadline is June 1, 2010. Simply follow these steps & you will be registered in just a few minutes

Submit registration information online for each person attending.Register here.
2. Pay Fees
Choose to either pay your $50 deposit or all of your fees at one time. Pay Ablaze Fees Online here. If you wish to pay by check email us at ablaze@ywamva.org
3. Return Forms
After we have received your online registration and $50 non-refundable deposit, we will send out your Event Authorization Form, Medical Release Form & Event Brochures. After signing, mail your Event Authorization & Medical Release Forms to:
