This spiritual backpacking experience has three stages of challenge.
AT Challenge (Stage 3 of 3)
Upon completion of the ATDTS outreach, students will have the option to finish hiking the rest of the A.T. For those who believe God is calling them to complete this journey of perseverance and character, your hiking will continue for an additional 12 weeks. Your team will be lead by experienced Christian missionary staff from Youth With A Mission. Upon completion, you will have hiked 2,180, traversed over 500,000 feet of elevation change (90 miles) and have met God in an intimate and powerful way. Every year 2 t0 3 million people hike some portion of the A.T., yet only 2000 attempt to complete it. Of those who wish to finish only about 500 per year are able to finish. Can you imagine the future you will have when you discover how fearfully and wonderfully you are made?
